Mayvenn: OMMA Awards Corporate Responsibility Winner 2020
Out of work hair salon workers have had tough times of late. Pandemic issues pushed Mayvenn, a hair product company, to developed a campaign called #SaveTheSalon to raise funds for stylists unable to work during the salon closures. The goal was to provide $500 to as many Mayvenn stylists. The company’s GoFundMe campaign, raise over $1.25 million — exceeding a goal of $1 million. It gave back to 2,500 active Mayvenn stylists. No trimming or cutting here. You look marvelous.
