In 2018 Holly Welch bought the business with several goals in mind, one of which was to provide meaningful work and support for her autistic son who attends a program for special needs adults in a program called Thrive. Hobby Master uses the Thrive program to assemble all of their mega coin flip packages and they do a great job and it helps to give them a sense of pride and worth to do work for a local business. It also gives Hobby Master great joy to hire special needs employees in their warehouse who put together coin and flip packages that go into various coin and currency bundles. Hobby Master’s biggest goal is to be the very best in providing the supplies you need to protect and display collections!
